Welcome to Dante Weyr, an Alternative 10th Pass PBeM (Play-By-Email). Brand new to the great world of Online PBeM's based on the excellent Series - The Dragonriders of Pern ®  written by Anne McCaffrey. Now for those of you who don't know what Pern is exactly, I think Jody Lynn Nye says it best in The Dragonlover's Guide To Pern - " Just what kind of place is Pern? It is a world where you can make a dragon intelligent, endlessly sympathetic friend who will share your every thought and hope, and on whose back you can really fly. It is a place where technology has lost its toehold and pollution never existed. To be sure, it suffers a terrifying menace called Thread, but between incursions, Pern is still a world for explorers. The frontiers haven't yet all be crossed." So the short version is that it is the ideal world for a bunch of writers to get caught up in and write to their hearts content. Dante Weyr officially opened on May 1st.

::Summary of the Current RP Month's Weather::
Month 3 is the end of summer. This means that it will be very humid and expect a shower of rain at least once a day. Particularly during the middle of the month, expect heavy rain on the 15th and 16th. The skies will be cloudy obviously and grey towards the afternoons. The temperature should be about 75 degress on average in fahrenheit. The highs are eighty five degrees and the lows are fifty five degrees.
